Hotel description

This hostel boasts an excellent position in the beautiful green area close to the Gellért Bath, the Castle District and the city centre, offering a great panorama from the Gellért Hill. The hostel in total has 70 rooms, all with private bathrooms and a refrigerator. Even luxury hotels could envy its superb location on Gellert Hill, close to the centre of Budapest. On one side you enjoy a nice view towards the Danube river and the modern Pest side of the capital, on the other side you can see the green Buda hills and the older part of the historic town.

Food & Beverage

In Balassi Gellért Hill Guesthouse you'll find two catering establishments, a buffet and a buffet-restaurant. They both work independently from the hostel. If you wish to taste something special Hungarian, or you prefer a nearby restaurant with an excellent kitchen we suggest to visit János Restaurant, only 400 metres away.

All children are welcome. All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
